Manifesto of the Hybrid Beyond the Margin:

THIS HYBRID CREATURE CRAWLED OUT OF THE MARGINS OF THE ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT AND HAS ENTERED THIS EXPANSIVE SPACE. AS IT SPRAWLS, SLITHERS,AND CRAWLS INTO THIS MOMENT, ITS MULTIPLICITY AND VEILED TRANSPARENCY IS SLICED THROUGH BY OUR TIMELINE’S CONTAINER OF OPPRESSIVE CATEGORIES. THIS CLOCKING SEVERS ITS FORM, AND RENDERS ITS PROTECTIVE SYMBOLOGY HINGED OPEN. FROM ILLUSION TO PHYSICAL SPACE, THIS BEING OF BETWEENS BECKONS US FORWARD WITH AN EXTENDED INVITATION OF LOOKING, FEELING, TOUCHING, SMELLING, AND KNOWING FROM BEYOND GENDER AND SPECIES TAXONOMIES.

A key to its symbology:

Fish: Smells of Sweet oranges. Tasting, providing for self, resourcefulness.

Bleeding Heart: Smells of Eucalyptus. Healing, mother, and my childhood backyard

Bird: Smells of Lavender. Queerness, transness, gentle love, gentle habits, nest building/home making, quietness.

Cocoon: Smells of cardamom. Transformation and rest, inventiveness and intuition (i.e: baking).
